The STI RA V6 gears are a found in the rally-bred Version 6 Impreza STI RA and is designed to be a much beefier swap for your WRX 5-speed transmission.
The thicker gear teeth as well as the inherently stronger gears and shaft are a perfect solution for customers looking for gear-sets that will hold more power. For further strengthening all gear-sets are CRYOGENICALLY TREATED.
We recommend these gear-sets for customers looking for gear-sets to hold 275-350awhp. For higher power levels we would recommend either a STI 6-speed tranny or a synchroless dog-box.
Gearset kits include main shaft & all forward gears, shaft lock nuts, front oil seal, 3rd/4th shift rail, 3rd/4th synchro hub, 4th synchro ring, 3.90 speedometer gear, rear case gasket.
Rebuild time is generally 5-6 hours of bench time (not including removal & installation) and if your transmission is damaged we HIGHLY recommend new bearings and synchros.

Install Kits no longer are included with the gear set, please select the proper install kit for your vehicle!
Install kits come with the parts necessary to properly install the gear set into your particular vehicle. At minimum the kit will include a full set of shaft lock nuts, case gasket, and oil seal. Some kits will include additional parts such as updated synchro hubs, thrust washer, shift rail, etc.
Full 17 piece bearing kit comes with all bearings. Partial 4 piece bearing kit comes with main and driven support shaft bearings.
